Contract Manager Maasvlakte:

We are currently looking for a Contract Manager to join our multi national client. As a core member of their Contract Management team you will be based at their clients Terminal site in Maasvlakte Rotterdam. You will monitor and optimise performance while leading a team and ensuring all parties involved are satisfied in relation to Compliance, Margin, and continuous improvement opportunities.

  • Leading the team, including training, coaching, performance reviews, and recruitment. 

  • Coordinating daily team activities, such as scheduling, task allocation, cross-training, and deadline monitoring 

  • Assessing, interpreting, and evaluating contract and service agreements 

  • Preparing, evaluating, and recommending new contract proposals and extensions 

  • Negotiating and overseeing compliance with contractual obligations with suppliers and clients 

  • Responding to customer inquiries and handling changes to existing contracts 

  • Monitoring contract compliance and service delivery 

  • Advising on commercial and operational issues in the tender and contract phase 

  • Identifying process optimizations, opportunities for risk minimization, and new business 

  • Actively contributing to team and departmental objectives with professional knowledge 

  • Identifying and resolving complex problems 

  • Acting according to our clients values and promoting alignment among stakeholders

 

What you bring to the table:

  • HBO diploma with 3-5 years of relevant work experience or a combination of relevant experience and education is also welcome.

  • A proven background of running technically orientated contracts.

  • Prior Terminal or Port experience is beneficial.

  • Experience in human resources such as recruitment, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, evaluating and rewarding performance, and staff retention is a plus.

  • The ability to communicate sensitive, complex information effectively, communicate expectations clearly, and address problems.

  • Leadership qualities to motivate the team and have a positive impact on the quality, efficiency, and effectiveness of the field and the department.

  • Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office and maintenance packages.

  • Strong organizational skills combined with a curious and investigative nature.

  • English and Dutch language skills.

 

Salary between €80,000 and €100,000 per annum, bonus structure. Lease car with tank pass. Laptop, Phone, 25 vacation days, excellent growth and development potential (including education and course for personal development).
